Pigeonholes, parcels and a worn wooden counter — Joey's Time Post Office recreates a small-town post office from an era of handwritten letters. Comes with the furniture shown.
What's in the box
This is a build-it-yourself miniature house kit, not a finished dollhouse. You get pre-cut wooden and fabric pieces, LED lighting, paper accessories and an illustrated manual — you assemble and furnish it yourself.
Before you start
- Pick up craft glue and AA/AAA batteries locally — they can't be shipped internationally.
- Recommended for ages 14+ — parts are small and detailed.
- Sort the pieces by number before gluing anything.
FAQ
Is it a toy or a display piece? It's a display piece. The finished house is detailed and delicate, so it's meant for a shelf or cabinet rather than play.
Does it come with lights? No built-in lighting in this kit. If you want it lit, a short battery LED strip fits neatly behind the finished build.
Is it beginner friendly? Yes, if you can follow an illustrated manual. It's a satisfying step up from the smallest kits: more pieces, more detail, but no special skills or tools needed.
How big is it when finished? It's designed to sit on a standard bookshelf between your books — roughly the footprint of a hardback, so measure your gap first.
Do I need glue, batteries or tools? Glue and batteries aren't included because they can't be shipped by air. You'll want craft glue (or wood glue) and no batteries for this model. A small craft knife and tweezers help with the finer pieces.
How long does it take? Plan on a few evenings — roughly 6–12 hours depending on how fussy you are with the details. Many builders split it across a weekend.
